Abe Lagrimas, Jr. is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, educator, and author known for his masterful work across drums, vibraphone, and ukulele. A alumnus of the prestigious Berklee College of Music and a competitor in the renowned Thelonious Monk International Jazz Drums Competition, Abe has established himself as an in-demand session musician and performer. Throughout his career, he has collaborated with a diverse roster of industry icons, including Lalo Schifrin, Kamasi Washington, Eric Marienthal, Eric Reed, Barbara Morrison, and Jake Shimabukuro.

As a solo ukulele artist, Abe is a multiple Na Hoku Hanohano Award winner with an extensive discography released in the U.S., Japan, and South Korea. His dynamic live performances have taken him around the globe as a featured headliner at major ukulele festivals across North America, Europe, Asia, and Australia.
 

Dedicated to inspiring the next generation of musicians, Abe is an active educator, private instructor, and featured teacher for the Fender Play platform. He is also the author of Jazz Ukulele: Comping, Soloing, Chord Melodies (published by Berklee Press & Hal Leonard), a widely acclaimed instructional book available worldwide.
